LONDON FASHION WEEK got off to a bitchy start today when two Irish Models were removed from the catwalk lineup for being “too thin”.

Spokesperson for the Irish girls’ model agency EirFix, Coullah Mindy-Madden, claimed that the move had nothing to do with their size.

“That’s just ridiculous. All our models are weighed carefully before each event and both were exactly 4 stone each. You would not believe how hard we work to keep their weight up. There’s no way they were too thin. It’s totally ridiculous.”

Models Septembrie Conlon (12)  and Manola McHugh (13),  who were ushered off the catwalk in a last minute switch, were said to be devastated by the move.

“I was promised an iPhone” said Manola.
