Murderer Jailed for Life
A MAN FOUND guilty of murder has been jailed for life. Anthony Gray (33) of Stonetown, County Louth, was jailed today for a minimum of 20 years for the murder of Kitty O’Malley. Judge Owen McSweeney in passing sentence told Gray that he would serve the life sentence without the possibility of parole.
“This was a senseless murder of an elderly woman in her home, for which you will be detained for no less than 20 years. When you get out you will be 53 years old and can look forward to continuing your life. Your victim sadly has no such hope. Reflect on your actions. I am providing you with the space and time to do so”, Judge McSweeney said.
